We are building the most useful independent source for understanding Máncora and Peru’s northern coast—not a directory of whoever paid to appear.
What we publish
Decision-first travel guides, original field notes and practical coastal context. We focus on the questions that change a trip: where to base yourself, how to arrive, what conditions to verify and how to engage with a place responsibly.
How we research
Guides combine firsthand regional context with official sources and direct checks. Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. Fast-changing facts such as schedules, prices, weather and access rules are framed as checks to make, not permanent promises.
Editorial independence
Recommendations are not pay-to-rank. If a stay, organization or project has a founder, hosting or commercial relationship with Máncora Living, that relationship is disclosed next to the coverage. Mirador Pocitas and Máncora Living share a founder; Akasha belongs to the wider connected ecosystem.
Corrections and updates
If a guide is wrong or no longer current, email hello@mancoraliving.com with the page and supporting source. We review material corrections and update the visible checked date when the page has been substantively reverified.
